About The Position

This role is an On-Site position located at 950 E. Avenue K, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. The work hours are Monday – Friday 1:00pm – 9:30pm, with overtime as needed and during peak season (June-December). The BSN Sports Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for selecting and preparing products for shipment in a warehouse setting.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and move around the warehouse.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
  • Ability to work seasonal mandatory OT as needed
  • Must be able to pass background check.
  • HS Diploma or GED (required)
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting
  • Learn tasks quickly, is detailed, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance
  • Must be very comfortable with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with repetitive body movements
  • Ability to lift and/or move no less than 15-40 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and reviewing pick sheets, work orders, and other shipping documents to determine items to be picked and packed.
  • Locating and retrieving items from their designated storage areas within the warehouse using handheld devices or picking carts.
  • Checking product quality and quantity, ensuring that they follow the order specifications.
  • Packaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment to customers, including accurately completing required shipping documentation.
  • Keeping accurate inventory records of items picked and packed and reporting any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Operating various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, and following all safety procedures.
  • Communicating effectively with other warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
