We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious forklift driver to operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, shipping and receiving records and ensuring that all products are handled with care and according to company standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience operating a forklift and knowledge of forklift safety procedures and guidelines.
Knowledge of forklift safety procedures and safe material handling practices.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to X pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
Attention to detail, situational awareness, and sound decision-making to safely transport materials and support production operations.
Ability to prioritize tasks, follow work instructions, communicate effectively with team members, and maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Valid forklift certification.
Experience with inventory control or ERP systems.
Experience using RF scanners or barcode technology.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift to move and stack merchandise and materials throughout the facility.
Load and unload trucks, as well as transport materials to and from designated areas and racks.
Pull and prepare orders for shipment using the forklift and pulling and stacking by hand, as well as preparing related paperwork.
Conduct routine safety checks and reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
Always follow safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate safety gear and following established safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
Perform other duties as assigned.
