About The Position

This role is for a Forklift Operator in Franklin Park, Park, IL. The compensation starts at $18.00 an hour, with a $1.50 shift premium for nights. Available shifts are Day Shift (7:00 am - 7:00 pm) and Night Shift (7:00 pm - 7:00 am).

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
  • Stable work history; six months experience in a manufacturing environment or other physical labor job is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work 12-hour day and night rotating shifts
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
  • Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the receipt of all finished products
  • Safely operate all material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet movers
  • Support the materials handling process for production related materials
  • Maintain an orderly and organized warehouse
  • Develop, revise, and review documentation for all materials related activities
  • Weighs pallets and scrap when applicable
  • Shrink wrap finished products and setup floor warehouse pickup
  • Examines finished pallets before pickup and distributes materials
