About The Position

Viking Packaging is looking to fill an open Forklift Operator position in New Paltz, NY. The selected individual will load and unload products throughout the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner as well as provide customer service when necessary. This is a 2nd Shift position, Monday to Friday from 3:30pm to 12am.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of previous forklift driving experience
• Experience driving sit down propane lifts
• Must have exceptional productivity and communication skills
• Must have the ability to adhere to policies and standards
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification is not required, but is preferred
• Ability and passion to learn on the job

Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner
• Loading and unloading products throughout the warehouse
• Maintaining warehouse storage and cleanliness
• Complying with safety precautions and best practices
• Providing customer service as necessary
