- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
Responsibilities
- Operating forklifts to move kibble and packaged products within the manufacturing facility, ensuring timely deliveries and inventory management.
- Perform daily safety checks on equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance productivity.
- Utilize Barrett's ERP system, Plex, for location of bulk product.
- Ensure quality of bulk product by inspecting product prior to movement.
- Scan bulk product onto the packaging line it will hang on.
- Safely hang 2,000lb bulk product on the packaging line & notify the packaging operator.
- Weigh any bulk product that did not get packaged into smaller bags & report it to the packaging operator.
- Ensure FIFO rules are adhered to.
- Enter product information & print labels for pallets in our ERP system, Plex.
- Screen kibble as necessary.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete paperwork.
- Wrap & transport finished pallets to the warehouse & stage for shipping.
- Count and check orders as they are packaged for accuracy.
- Be prepared to adapt to dynamic challenges, ensuring that customer needs are consistently met.
