About The Position
We are hiring an experienced Forklift Driver / Reach Truck Operator for a full-time manufacturing and warehouse opportunity in Streamwood, IL. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating a reach truck and is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Requirements
- Previous reach truck experience is required
- Previous forklift experience required
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse tasks throughout the shift
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a reach truck and other powered industrial equipment
- Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Transport materials to designated locations
- Assist with inventory movement and organization
- Safely stack and store products and materials
- Follow all safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines
- Inspect equipment before use and report any issues or safety concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work closely with warehouse and production teams to keep materials moving efficiently
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
