We are a small business, located in Salem, specializing in logistics services and complex assembly services, including full vehicle assembly, for the Automotive industry. Requirements
- Able to assess weight and judge distances and heights.
- Outstanding attendance records.
- Mechanically inclined and make safety a priority in your daily work environment.
- Professionally operated a stand up, sit down, double fork, single fork or wide Forklift machine.
- Previous certification.
- Multiple years of experience.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Transport material from designated areas in the facility as indicated by the production schedule.
- Handle dunnage containers and empties.
- Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the facility to feed the line with material.
- Stack goods in the correct storage bays and follow inventory control instructions.
- Make sure that all loads are properly secured and will carry out routine checks of the forklift.
