Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and moves them to and from storage areas. Maintain inventory, perform cycle counts, and provide production with all required materials. Responsible for safely transporting dry/frozen ingredients or finished goods to in and about the warehouse/freezer area. Manually offload containers of product on to a pallet. Transports material and/or product to and from designated areas in the facility. Loading and unloading goods from trucks according to the pick/delivery schedule. Inspect trucks for cleanliness prior to the loading or unloading of product. Responsible for verifying that all deliveries come with a COA. Monitor and ensure that all deliveries of sugar and flour are placed in the accurate silo/container. Sorts and moves product according to First in First Out (FIFO) rule. Ensures that product/ingredients are readily available to supply R&D, Q.A., Production and/ or Customer Service with samples. Stacking and sorting empty and broken pallets; both freezer and dry warehouse pallets. Assist with conducting daily cycle counts as needed. Conducts daily forklift inspections. Ensure that the warehouse area is well organized and clean. Assist with various warehouse duties as needed. Warehouse storage procedures and inventory control including stock rotation, allergen separation, and label control procedures. All employees are required to immediately report and assist in the elimination or control of any food safety issues they observe to their supervisor. Monitors and enforces cGMPs within the warehouse department. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Pre-requisite programs.
