Requirements

  • Abide by all Company and Federal (OSHA) requirements for forklift operator certification for double reach and stand-up reach forklift trucks.
  • Physical strength and dexterity to perform essential functions.
  • Operate a personal computer and related software. Oracle, Excel, etc.
  • Perform all functions/tasks within the Department.
  • Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
  • Standing on a fatigue mat in a specific area throughout a 10 hour+ shift.
  • Be able to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.
  • Standing for 8 hours a day or longer.
  • Ability to work in an environment with repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, and elbows.
  • Physical strength and dexterity to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely throughout the distribution center.
  • Load, unload, move, and stage products and materials as needed.
  • Retrieve and place inventory in designated warehouse locations, including high-rack storage areas.
  • Accurately transport products to support order fulfillment and shipping operations.
  • Perform routine inventory movements while maintaining product quality and organization.
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operating guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Safely maneuver equipment in tight warehouse spaces while maintaining awareness of surrounding personnel and inventory.
  • Utilize experience and confidence operating forklifts at elevated heights to accurately store and retrieve products from warehouse racking systems.
  • Inform and update management of shortages of stock needed for gravity feed conveyors.
  • Maintains inventories of finished graduation apparel by color, size, and material.
  • Responsible for correctly identifying and placing newly manufactured and returned items into proper storage areas.
  • Responsible for stocking gravity feed conveyors.
