Forklift/ tugger Operators for 1st. Shift

About The Position

A new client of Ellabell is partnering with a major manufacturing company in the area. This is a temp-to-hire position for Forklift and Tugger Operators on the first shift.

Requirements

• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
• Efficiency, accuracy, and speed.
• Outstanding attendance and punctuality.
• Multi-tasking.
• Time management skills.
• Team player with effective communication skills.
• At least two years of related experience in warehousing or manufacturing required.
• Must be able to lift 20-25 pounds at a time.
• Having the ability to push, pull, lift, bend and stand throughout the shift.
• You must wear steel toe boots, work pants, safety glasses and gloves.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound deliveries consisting of dunnage, dollies, palletized collapsable totes & larger knock down collapsable totes.
• Load empty Dunnage, Racks, knockdown totes &/or collapsable totes per Supplier.
• Load Outbound Trailers per Order/Detail Sheet.
• Stack trash cases/boxes then load onto Trash Trailer.
• Removing loaded dollies (also commonly referred to as racks or/& dunnage) from Trailer onto Stage Dock for Scan Tech to receive load in.
• Move dollies from Receiving Dock to Zone or assigned floor location.
• Once Pickers have loaded dollies with required parts then Tugger Driver would move sequenced dollies to Shipping Dock.
• Remove empty dollies from designated returned empty Trailer to designated stationary area per Part Type.
• Move dollies from empty floor area to Picker locations (rotating cycle prior to 1c).
