About The Position
The Forklift and Facility Maintenance position involves a variety of facilities related tasks, such as: external/internal building repairs, preventative maintenance and safety and licensing concerns. Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience performing general maintenance and repairs on forklifts is required.
- 2+ years related facility maintenance experience is required
- Technical skills and knowledge of general industrial maintenance – electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fabrication, machining, carpentry, plumbing, air conditioning and heating.
- Basic computer skills are required for researching needed parts & supply orders
- Welding experience required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Responsibilities
- Performs general maintenance and repairs on equipment, fixtures, systems, and facilities in support of overall building operations.
- Ability to diagnose and perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on a variety of powered industrial equipment.
- General carpentry and repair of facility structures as well as minor plumbing work.
- Perform monthly preventative maintenance visits for each assigned area.
- Order materials, update and/or create work orders and provide status updates
- Maintain fleet of 70+ electric forklifts
- Coordinate with vendors to schedule maintenance work
- Other related duties as assigned.
