About The Position
Weyerhaeuser Distribution is a global leader in delivering high-quality building products for residential, light commercial, and home improvement projects. We’re excited to announce the opening of our brand-new Gallatin Distribution Center, and we’re looking for motivated individuals to help us build something great from the ground up. This is a hands-on role that’s perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a team, and making a real impact every day.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and move up to 100lbs
- Forklift Operator experience
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions five days a week and occasional Saturdays
- Strong attention to detail and a team-first mindset
- Commitment to wearing required safety gear and following safety protocols
Responsibilities
- Operate propane/gas forklifts to move building materials safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trailers and rail cars
- Perform manual labor (55–65% of your day) in an outdoor environment
- Accurately count, record, and document shipping/receiving activities
- Develop in depth knowledge of building material products and warehouse operations
- Uphold safety standards and speak up when something doesn’t look right
- Use basic math skills and computer systems to support daily operations
