About The Position
This position supports picking/packing, loading/unloading, and general warehousing duties. The role involves understanding material location methods, reading packing lists, following shipping/receiving protocols, and recording turnbacks. Responsibilities also include processing rework work orders/purchase orders, performing and reconciling cycle counts with root cause analysis, and recommending improvements for efficient and effective methodologies. The operator will execute JDE transactions relevant to their area and perform 5S duties. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat.
- This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 35 pounds.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
Nice To Haves
- Certified PIV Driver preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in a high volume, high complexity, distribution environment preferred
