About The Position

Responsible for loading and unloading the wheelabrator and stacking parts from the shaker table into bins. This role also involves weighing bins and accurately filling out tags. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, including the use of hearing and eye protection, and steel toe boots with metatarsal guards. The work environment includes exposure to loud noise and hot, humid conditions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to read and write English
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to twist, bend and lift repetitively
• Ability to stand continuously for 8-12 hours
• Lift up to 20lbs repetitively
• Good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills

Responsibilities

• Pulls tag off boxes going into wheelabrator loader
• Ensures parts and heat codes do not get mixed
• Guarantees wheelabrator is empty when loading a new box into wheelabrator
• Stack parts into boxes, weigh the boxes, properly tag the boxes
• Loads wheelabrator with steel shot when needed
• Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor
