About The Position

This role involves a Mid Forescout Cyber Security Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance. The position requires extensive experience in systems administration, network architecture, and cybersecurity certifications. The engineer will be responsible for supporting IT projects and activities, troubleshooting, configuration, and security upgrades within complex network environments. A strong understanding of multi-domain architectures, data centers, WAN, and LAN in virtualized settings is essential. The role also involves knowledge of federal information security policies and the ability to deploy and integrate cybersecurity solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration for Windows or Linux, including troubleshooting, configuration, and security upgrades
• Experience architecting and designing IP networks, developing network topologies
• Knowledge of multi-domain architectures, data centers, WAN, LAN in virtualized environments
• Associate’s degree and 10+ years of supporting IT projects and activities, or Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years, or Master’s degree and 6+ years
• DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification such as SecurityX, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP
• DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification (CSSP-IS), including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, Cloud+, or CND

Nice To Haves

• Experience with deployment or maintenance of Forescout CounterACT appliances
• Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, and risk management processes
• Ability to install and deploy Forescout in customer environments
• Ability to integrate cybersecurity data using enterprise or custom tools like Splunk
