About The Position

This role involves performing preliminary valuation, forensic, and appraisal analyses, including the development of comparative adjusted financial statements and data input for expert witness exhibits. Litigation Seniors contribute to activities at the senior level, including interfacing with associates for project management, time management, and general supervision and guidance. The role requires knowledge of relevant statutory and family codes and their applicability to accounting principles in the performance of forensic accounting. You will participate in client assignments from beginning to end, create forensic and economics models for presentation of forensic standard accounting systems, and identify and communicate case issues, findings, and improvement opportunities with managers and partners to resolve client issues discovered during engagements. You will also work with the discovery team to inventory and reconcile documents and data produced in preparation for submission to courts, attorneys, and clients, and assist in the preparation of exhibits and background information for expert witness testimony. Maintaining the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality, and personal conduct is essential. Additionally, you will participate in training and developing staff, building a team-centered client service team, monitor client issues related to compliance services, monitor engagement status and profitability, and attend to clients' expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
  • Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree
  • 1-year supervisory experience
  • Family law forensic accounting experience
  • 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
  • CPA candidates preferred
