About The Position

Meaden & Moore is a leading CPA and business consulting firm. This Investigative Accounting Internship offers real-world experience working with talented professionals in investigative accounting engagements. These engagements involve working with commercial property insurers in evaluating physical damage and business income losses suffered by businesses resulting from catastrophes. Projects may include reviewing and analyzing historical financial and industry information, revenue and expense projections, insurance claim evaluations, and economic damage evaluations. Assignments provide exposure to a wide range of industries from small local retail stores to multinational entities. The internship is available from August 2026 to December 2026, with flexible start and end dates. Both part-time (20-29 hours per week) and full-time (minimum 30 hours per week, up to 40 hours) internships are available. This opportunity is fully onsite.

Requirements

  • Junior or senior level student
  • Accounting major
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel skills that are considered to be an intermediate or advanced level.
  • Open to training in other Windows-based applications.
  • Motivation and enthusiasm
  • Self-starters who demonstrate an interest in learning new skills and concepts, then put them to work for our clients.
