The Foreman is a working foreman position with superior experience and proven success in the leadership position. This role involves enforcing safe working practices, efficiently scheduling crews, maintaining records, assisting fellow workers, and maintaining good customer relations. The Foreman will communicate project-related issues to customers, lead and train team members on pruning techniques, and operate vehicles and equipment safely. Responsibilities also include visual observation and safety checks in vegetation management, participating in storm restoration efforts, ensuring crew members carry out work as planned, and adapting quickly to changes. The Foreman must understand and adhere to the Line Clearance Contract, communicate effectively with crew members, and ensure the safety of themselves and others. Participation in ongoing training to improve skills and coordination/inspection of crew work are also key. The role requires safely performing tasks, complying with company reporting procedures, assisting in on-the-job training, accepting accountability for crew availability, and properly inspecting PPE. Maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and tools is essential, as is ensuring crew members understand work directives and can communicate with customers. The Foreman must demonstrate knowledge and experience required in subordinate positions and follow all Company Safety Rules and Policies.
