About The Position

Sinacola is a 100% employee-owned organization with an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The Foreman coordinates activities related to the operation and maintenance of construction equipment and systems, implements construction procedures, specifications, and work schedules, and supervises equipment operators working on public and/or private construction projects. The role includes leading on-site teams, coordinating work and equipment, monitoring compliance with applicable regulations and safety requirements, and reporting daily time, equipment, and material usage. The position may require driving and operating heavy construction equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in a Foreman role or equivalent.
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Supervise on-site teams in accordance with defined schedules and procedures.
Set and delegate daily work objectives.
Determine and recommend improvements to methods, schedules, and procedures as needed.
Hire and train laborers and equipment operators.
Confer with supervisory personnel to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, schedules, and complaints.
Coordinate activities related to the operation of construction equipment.
Ensure personnel follow regulatory requirements and that shop and field maintenance address maintenance items.
Respond to delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites.
Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with safety codes and DOT, OSHA, MSHA, and other regulations.
Drive and operate heavy construction equipment as needed.
Report daily time, equipment, and material usage.
