The Foreman is a working foreman position with superior experience and proven success in the leadership position. This role involves enforcing safe working practices, efficiently scheduling crews, maintaining records, assisting fellow workers, and maintaining good customer and public relations. The Foreman will communicate with customers about project-related issues, lead and train team members on pruning techniques, operate vehicles and equipment safely, and assist in visual observation and safety checks in vegetation management and cleaning. The position requires participation in storm restoration efforts, ensuring work is carried out as planned, adapting to changes, understanding and adhering to Line Clearance Contracts, and effectively communicating with crew members. Safety consciousness, including securing personal safety and that of others using proper tools, safety equipment, and PPE, is paramount. The Foreman will also participate in ongoing training, coordinate and inspect crew work, and comply with company reporting procedures and paperwork. Additionally, this role involves assisting in on-the-job training for less experienced personnel, accepting accountability for crew availability, inspecting PPE, and maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and tools. Effective communication with crew members regarding work directives and customer interactions is essential. The Foreman must demonstrate knowledge and experience required in subordinate positions and follow all Company Safety Rules and Company Policies and Procedures.
