The Foreman position is responsible for all activities that take place on their assigned job site. This role involves overseeing rigging crew activities, developing and implementing crew plans aligned with customer and sales directions, and directing the workforce to meet operational goals in terms of volume, cost, quality, safety, and schedule. The Foreman will directly supervise and work with machinery moving crews, taking a hands-on approach to supervising the movement of machinery using forklifts, skates, and jacks. A key part of the role includes developing and training crews in best rigging operation practices and safety procedures, working closely with safety personnel on training, investigations, and reporting. Building strong customer and employee relationships through excellent interpersonal and communication skills is essential, as is developing effective relationships with customers, business partners, and management. The Foreman must effectively manage job site projects by organizing all project information accurately and ensuring it contains all necessary details. The role requires consistently demonstrating professional conduct representative of MEI corporate mission, vision, and values, and the ability to drive to customer job sites to work and direct all activities.
