About The Position

The team consists of experienced field professionals and cross-trained crews capable of supporting projects from deep foundations to high-voltage installation, providing turnkey solutions. LiveSAFE Solutions is a utility infrastructure partner supporting power delivery programs nationwide, focusing on safety, accountability, and technical excellence while building and maintaining infrastructure. They are committed to developing the next generation of skilled line workers through mentorship, training, and real-world experience in the field. The company is seeking experienced Foremen to lead individual crews on overhead transmission and distribution projects. This role involves executing daily work safely and efficiently, while directly supervising crew members in the field.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of overhead transmission and/or distribution experience
  • Prior Foreman or crew leadership experience required
  • Strong knowledge of utility construction practices and Safety Standards (OSHA, NESC)
  • Ability to read and interpret prints, plans, and staking sheets
  • Experience with climbing, rigging, grounding, and energized work methods
  • Valid Class A CDL (or ability to obtain)
  • Willingness to travel and work in varying conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience mentoring apprentices or leading small crews
  • Storm restoration experience
  • Experience with utilities, co-ops, or EPC contractors
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a single crew in daily field operations
  • Execute work safely, on time, and to specification
  • Conduct job briefings, tailboards, and ensure OSHA and LiveSAFE Safety Standards Compliance
  • Coordinate daily crew tasks, tools, and equipment
  • Perform and oversee energized and de-energized line work
  • Monitor crew productivity and quality of work
  • Troubleshoot field issues and adjust work plans as needed
  • Communicate daily updates to General Foreman or Superintendent
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping, reporting, and documentation
