About The Position
Supervises, assigns, coordinates, and evaluates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel based on their skill, experience, and job knowledge. This role involves supervising and training employees to enhance the quality and quantity of work performed, recommending training to improve employee skills and productivity, and assisting in the development of training procedures. The Foreman breaks down broad strategies into practical action plans and ensures employees are trained to execute these plans. A key responsibility is ensuring compliance with all technical aspects of the job, including adherence to drawings and procedures. The role also oversees manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that significantly impact the company's financial performance. The Foreman monitors job and budget performance across all shifts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree OR Apprentice Certification OR High School and 4 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience OR Associate Degree in a Trade/Technical and 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
- US Citizenship Required
