Foreman - Specialty Construction (Fall Protection Systems)

About The Position

ITAC is seeking one to two experienced Foremen to lead nationwide installation of fall protection systems. The Foreman oversees crews of two to three, ensures work is completed safely and efficiently, and helps manage short-duration projects that typically last no more than two weeks at each site. The company provides support with logistics and travel, including a company vehicle and tools. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Project schedules vary, with start times ranging from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.; frequent overtime is required on certain projects. The typical base salary range is $62,000–$75,000. ITAC provides integrated engineering and construction services for process and industrial clients, along with specialty services including power systems, custom machine fabrication, and fall protection services and equipment. Requirements

10–15 years of construction experience; electrical or mechanical aptitude is strongly preferred.
Supervisory or foreman experience on job sites.
Willingness and availability to travel nationwide.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass a DMV check.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work at heights, including on rooftops and steel structures.
Familiarity with fall protection systems, lifts, and basic tools.
Comfort working overtime and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Lift or forklift operator certifications.
Experience in steel work, roofing, or fall protection installations.
Ironworking or rigging experience is relevant and may transition well to this work.

Responsibilities

Lead fall protection system installations, including guardrails, harnesses, and safety systems.
Supervise and train a small on-site crew.
Coordinate site logistics and materials.
Travel nationwide for short-term projects.
Ensure compliance with safety requirements and OSHA standards.
Read and interpret engineered drawings and project plans.
Liaise with project management, clients, and local teams.
Conduct equipment inspections and assist with project setup and closeout.
