About The Position

Roskam Foods is a contract manufacturer producing frozen, refrigerated, and shelf-stable products for food brands, retailers, and food service providers. The Foreman supports production operations by leading and coaching employees, managing production schedules, overseeing packaging equipment, maintaining hygiene and inventory records, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role helps ensure products consistently meet customer expectations for quality, safety, and wholesomeness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading operations teams in a manufacturing plant.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach employees to support strong performance and adherence to company standards.
• Manage production schedules to meet deadlines and production goals.
• Set up, operate, and tend to food packaging equipment, addressing rework resulting from equipment malfunctions.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and processing areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Maintain inventory management software to track materials accurately.
• Record production data during quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Obtain information from relevant sources through observation, data entry, and database management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
