About The Position

Select’s Foreman, under minimal supervision, performs a variety of general manual labor tasks, including, but not limited to, lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, digging and refilling holes, and other activities in a helping or assisting mode.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related work experience is required.
• Physical stamina.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

• Highschool Diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in training, assigning, and checking the work of lower-level employees.
• Often designated lead worker.
• Duties may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials and using a variety of tools and machines.
• Responsible for setting up and taking down ladders, scaffolding and other temporary structures.
• Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Must possess valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select's insurance guidelines.
