About The Position

About the position: Select's CDL driver operates heavy trucks and equipment while adhering to strict safety protocols. The driver collaborates closely with field teams to effectively manage water supply, transfer and /or disposal, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of related working experience is required.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to individually lift: Maximum 50 lbs
• Must be able to pass a DOT pre-employment physical.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Decision-making skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines.

• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
• Loads and unloads truck as required.
• Ensures the truck and driver are compliant with all DOT requirements.
• Maintains driver qualification records, time and driving records.
• Operates the truck in a safe manner following all Select’s driving policies.
• Possess a CDL license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select’s insurance guidelines.
• May require additional endorsements such as the below: Hazmat Tanker
