The Superintendent/Foreman manages the daily site activities by ensuring the project is constructed in accordance with safety, design, budget, and schedule. The Superintendent/Foreman directly manages the lead personnel and staff on each project site. This role involves daily communication with General Superintendents, job site crews, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines, workforce needs, and subcontractor agreements are met. A key aspect of this position is maintaining a safe working environment by identifying hazards, ensuring employees are up-to-date on safety procedures, and conducting daily Job Hazard Awareness meetings. The role also includes comprehensive record keeping, fair management of field personnel, addressing performance issues, participating in pre-construction and job site meetings, and ensuring all work adheres to specified quality standards. The Superintendent/Foreman will also respond to inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies, participate in ongoing training, and keep their supervisor informed of any potential issues affecting project success or company operations.
