About The Position

Select’s Pipeline Foreman, under minimal supervision, performs a variety of general manual labor tasks, including, but not limited to, lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, digging and refilling holes, and other activities in a helping or assisting mode. The essential job functions include, but are not limited to Assists in training, assigning, and checking the work of lower-level employees. Often designated lead worker. Duties may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials and using a variety of tools and machines. Responsible for setting up and taking down ladders, scaffolding and other temporary structures. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Must possess valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select's insurance guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must be 18-years of age or older.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas operations, pipeline operations and UIC wells.
  • Must pass pre-employment fitness for duty test (FIT test).
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of general water piping systems, pump, motors, valves, meters and other related equipment preferred.
