About The Position

The WTI Commercial Façade Foreman is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safety, efficiency, and quality of work within the WTI Commercial Building Envelope business. Safety is the top priority and will be integrated into all aspects of the role. As the leader of the WTI crew, the Foreman focuses on safety, crew management, and efficient project execution. Travel is required. The Foreman is responsible for delivering timely and high-quality service to WTI customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years progressive experience in a similar role.
  • Experience leading teams and providing technical solutions.
  • Experience in training and troubleshooting.
  • Thorough familiarity with standard façade construction including masonry, EIFS, Stucco, Curtainwall, metal panels, concrete, plaster, and other facade systems.
  • Knowledge of how to properly repair facade systems using Tremco CPG Materials.
  • 10 Hour OSHA Card.

Nice To Haves

  • 30 Hour OSHA Card (will be provided once hired).
  • Equipment operator certifications: Lifts, Swing Stages, Scaffolding.
  • Effective training/education of others.
  • Proper/appropriate communication.

Responsibilities

  • Actively administer and enforce Company safety policy and program to minimize accidents.
  • Conduct daily onsite safety briefs.
  • Inspect and ensure the safety of surroundings, equipment, and tools.
  • Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form.
  • Ensure all project communication is completed prior to the start of any WTI project, including communication with Sales Rep, WTI crew members, the customer, and WTI Supervisor.
  • Manage efficient project execution, including crew start/end times, production rates, and ensuring availability of tools and materials.
  • Complete projects according to scope of work, design, and specifications.
  • Conduct end-of-day and/or end-of-project walkthroughs to ensure quality repairs.
  • Send before and after pictures to the Sales Rep and include detailed work performed updates, materials consumed, and supplies purchases in daily project status reports.
  • Supervise, direct, and coordinate the scheduling and execution of projects.
  • Manage field personnel, including recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, retaining, laying off, disciplinary action, employee assistance, and handling union matters.
  • Ensure WTI Field Labor maintains a professional appearance and customer interaction.
  • Track and monitor project inventory.
  • Maintain high-quality on-site customer relations.
  • Ensure compliance with all governmental rules and regulations (OSHA, DOT, EEO/Affirmative Action, EPA, Wage and Hour, etc.).
  • Manage, monitor, and document performance of WTI Commercial Field Labor and take corrective measures.
  • Consult with WTI Commercial Supervisor and Human Resources as needed.
  • Contribute accurate and timely job information, including daily logs and job file documentation, and compile information for customer billing.
  • Provide management with early notification of job problems.
  • Accept responsibility for the care, custody, and purchasing of company equipment, material, tools, and other assets.
  • Train employees in proper material and equipment usage, maintenance, and storage.
  • Coordinate and monitor performance of on-site subcontractors.
  • Perform any other duty or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Commercial Business Manager.
  • Maintain ethical business conduct.
