About The Position

We are hiring an experienced Electrical Foreman for a large project in Pelzer, South Carolina and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial or industrial electrician who is ready to lead a crew while remaining actively involved in field installation. As an Electrical Foreman, you will oversee and work alongside a team of Journeyman Electricians, Apprentices, and Helpers. You will be responsible for helping your crew work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while keeping assigned scopes of work on schedule.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial and/or industrial environments
  • Previous leadership experience with the ability to lead, mentor, and coach electrical crews
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation methods and NEC requirements
  • Ability to understand and manage an assigned scope of work
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
  • Understanding of construction schedules and the ability to keep assigned work progressing
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with other trades and field supervision
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills
  • Ability to work project schedules that may include overtime and weekends
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of electrical construction, including lifting materials or equipment up to 50 lbs. and working from ladders or at heights
  • Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and coach Journeyman Electricians, Apprentices, and Helpers in the field
  • Work alongside your crew performing electrical installations
  • Plan and coordinate daily work activities and manpower needs
  • Help ensure assigned work stays on schedule and meets production goals
  • Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and workmanship
  • Ensure electrical installations comply with applicable local codes and NEC requirements
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
  • Lay out electrical work, including underground installations
  • Develop material lists based on drawings, layouts and jobsite needs
  • Install conduit, conductors, electrical devices, fixtures, panelboards, branch circuits, and feeders
  • Determine proper wire, conduit, and junction box sizing
  • Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits
  • Coordinate assigned work with supervision and other trades
  • Communicate expectations clearly to your crew and help drive successful project execution
