FZ is looking for an Electrical Foreman for the Charlotte, NC office. As an onsite project leader, this role ensures successful project completion by supervising electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within commercial and industrial settings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous Electrician experience and proficient in the installation of complex electrical systems.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience and leading crews.
  • Knowledge of building construction methods, NEC electrical code, permit requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Competence in reading and following blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Bluebeam.
  • Ability to travel regionally to project sites as needed.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within commercial and industrial settings.
  • Ensuring safety on the job site and communicating potential risks.
  • Leading and mentoring field crews.
  • Assigning tasks, tracking resources, and overseeing progress.
  • Collaborating with customers, suppliers, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Reading and following blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Traveling regionally to project sites as needed.
