About The Position

Audubon is currently seeking a Foreman to join their team. The Foreman manages, trains, and leads a crew of skilled workers or laborers to complete projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Five years' experience in the construction industry.
Five years' experience as foreman.
Must have or be able to obtain OSHA Construction Basic Plus Safety Training Card.
Civil construction and quality assurance practices and procedures.
Construction of safety practices.
Proven experience as civil construction carpenter.
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and HSE guidelines.
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to communicate and report effectively.
Aptitude in math and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently when required.
Ability to motivate, lead, teach and train on proper work and safety procedures.
Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problems.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing.
Individuals must have a valid driver's license and driving record that meets Company requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee and lead a crew of 1-15 employees & Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures.
Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
Identify all tools required for tasks.
Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
Must be able to compute basic arithmetic functions, measure, mark, and cut equipment and materials to specification.
Knowledge of layout of foundations forms and building framing.
Safe use of power tools such as saws, drills, planes, sanders, routers and grinders.
Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.
Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans for the site team.
Regularly report project status to Site Manager and Site Civil Superintendent
Work closely with Site QA/QC Leads to maintain appropriate records.
Manage Civil/Structural drawing red-line process for site corrections
Resolve civil/structural conflicts and miscommunications with all parties and disciplines

Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety
Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities
Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions
