About The Position

Supervises bridge crews in a heavy highway and bridge construction environment, including formwork, pile driving, and drilled shafts. Plans and manages project production and safety, reviews construction plans to determine design and specifications, and assists project management in ensuring work meets project specifications. Maintains accurate records of materials used and crew time. The role involves overseeing bridge construction from start to finish and working outdoors in Florida heat and rain, including around heavy highway traffic. Employees may be asked to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Five to seven years of experience managing a crew of bridge carpenters, laborers, and pile drivers in a heavy highway or bridge construction environment.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Hands-on knowledge of every aspect of bridge construction.
• Excellent supervisory and communication skills.
• Ability to work an average of ten hours per day, five days per week, and occasionally six days per week.
• Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat and rain and around heavy highway traffic areas.
