About The Position

This position supervises and coordinates the activities of craft workers to ensure that work is done safely, correctly, and in a timely manner. The Foreman Boilermaker I uses knowledge and understanding of the technical installation requirements for the work under their supervision, including drawings, specifications, procedures, and codes. They follow direction from their supervisor and perform other duties as assigned.

• Must know how to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineering specifications
• Must understand how to read and interpret technical manuals to determine work procedures
• Must have experience using industrial hand tools and power tools
• Must pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug test

• Formal education/degree/certificate in construction, technical or trade school such as NCCER Certification
• Basic Computer proficiency
