About The Position

The Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for managing and growing relationships with Foreign Subsidiary Commercial and Corporate Banking clients across the United States. This is a VP-level role within the organization and the team is part of U.S. Bank's Institutional Client Group (ICG), which services our largest clients. The RM grows revenue as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting and closing new business relationships while retaining and expanding existing customer relationships. Works closely with the portfolio management team to manage loan and portfolio credit quality. Provides financial advice to customers and recommends appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients and makes appropriate referrals.

Requirements

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of commercial lending experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Japanese is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel throughout the continental U.S.
  • Strong relationship management and business development/sales skills
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
