This role is for Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduates who have successfully passed the FPGEE and TOEFL, and are seeking to complete their required US Internship hours. The program aims to build upon existing pharmacist education, developing knowledge, skills, and abilities through a mixed modality learning plan. Interns will gain experience in diverse patient care, practice management, leadership, and education, preparing them for licensure exams. Under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, interns play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment, focusing on patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management (excluding final prescription verification). A key component involves managing patient care programs. The role also emphasizes leading with empathy, supporting the pharmacy manager, identifying business opportunities, adapting to change, collaborating, and fostering a team culture.
