This program offers challenging opportunities for foreign pharmacy graduates to learn and grow professionally within CVS Health's Retail locations. The goal is to transform healthcare for customers and make the company a great place to work. US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduates will support pharmacy teams, prepare for a Pharmacist role by completing required US Internship hours, and apply their didactic learning. Under a preceptor's direction, a mixed modality learning plan will be used to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities. Graduates must complete their internship within 18 months and be prepared to pass all required Pharmacist licensure exams within 120 days of internship completion. The experience includes hands-on practice, a training roadmap, Key Learning Experiences (KLEs), and interaction with leaders to deepen understanding of pharmacy practice, patient care, business acumen, and leadership skills. Responsibilities include assisting the pharmacy team with smooth operations, prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment, and exceeding patient expectations. This involves operating as part of the team through SOPs, best practices, and effective communication, demonstrating empathy and care, and contributing to a safe and inclusive culture. Specific responsibilities include following SOPs, pharmacy workflow procedures, contributing to positive patient experiences, offering counseling, fielding medical questions, taking and clarifying telephonic prescriptions, providing in-the-moment coaching, completing inventory activities, contributing to a high-performing team, remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs, and complying with all relevant laws and regulations. Graduates may also support immunizations, including completing training, educating patients, monitoring for adverse reactions, and reviewing patient information.
