Foreign Language Interpreter (Temporary) (Nash)
About The Position
This is a temporary position located at 141 Storage Road - Nash County. This position is assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services - DCFW CDSA. The hourly rate of pay is $34.35, based on education and/or years of relevant work experience. Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. Requirements
- High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of experience in interpreting and translating English and the required foreign language in a setting that requires a knowledge of the programs or service; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face interpretation for Spanish-speaking children and their families who are referred to the NC Infant-Toddler Program.
- Provide translation of documents that will be provided to families.
