About The Position

The Foreign Clearance Program Specialist role focuses on helping organizations operate effectively on a global scale by analyzing their operations from an external perspective. This involves understanding the complexities of strategic deterrence and nuclear integration missions to provide advice on process improvements, mission success, and standard methodologies. The specialist will create a comprehensive picture of the client's current structure, daily operations, and outcomes, identifying areas of strength and improvement through discussions and workshops with stakeholders. The role offers experience in host-nation sovereignty laws, foreign clearance requirements, and arms control agreements, contributing to the client's strategic deterrence and nuclear integration efforts.

Requirements

1+ years of experience with processing and coordinating country clearance and theater clearance
Knowledge of DoW foreign clearance procedures and regulations
Knowledge of international travel reporting procedures
Ability to use tools supporting data analysis and usable reporting such as Excel, Share Point, and database tools
Ability to coordinate meetings, visits, and conferences
Ability to function in a dynamic working environment
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in International Relations, National Security Studies, Political Science, or Public Administration

Nice To Haves

Experience with HQ USAF, Joint Staff, or STRATCOM
Knowledge of the Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS) policy and procedures
Knowledge of the Department of War (DoW) Foreign Clearance Program (FCP)
Knowledge of international treaties and agreements relevant to military operations
Completion of Foreign Disclosure Officer training
Completion of Anti-terrorism Level II training
OPSEC Level II Certification
Completion of Defense Travel System (DTS) training

Responsibilities

Analyze customer operations to provide advice on process improvements, mission success, and standard methodologies.
Create an overall picture of the client’s current structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes.
Use discussions and workshops with stakeholders, analysts, and support staff to identify areas for improvement.
Review the path forward and expected results with the team lead and client.
Gain experience in host-nation sovereignty laws, foreign clearance requirements, and stringent arms control agreements.
