This role monitors and expedites the handling of foreclosure processes on assigned loans within the guidelines of FHA, VA, PMI, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, private investors, and state laws. The Foreclosure Specialty Representative II partners with foreclosure attorneys to ensure loans/files are worked timely, accurately, and in accordance with applicable guidelines. This position may handle a higher volume of files and escalated issues than junior staff, and ensures all actions to take a loan to foreclosure are within the appropriate investor and required guidelines and timeframes. This includes, but is not limited to, filing of first action, service, judgment, foreclosure sales, and notifying the investor. The role also involves preparing bidding instruction figures, processing sales, and updating reporting for Freddie Mac DFRI, Fannie Mae Laser, and HUD SFDMS. Additionally, the representative processes invoices, verifies amounts, remits payments, and keeps foreclosure screens updated. A key responsibility includes training and mentoring junior staff, actively participating in identifying process improvement opportunities, and successfully completing annual regulatory compliance training.
