About The Position

Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to join its growing team. The role involves managing foreclosure matters from referral through conclusion, including ordering title, obtaining payoffs, and preparing deeds, assignments, and letters. The paralegal will support attorneys and clients by preparing legal documents, handling court filings and document recording, maintaining case materials and calendars, and meeting time-sensitive deadlines. The position can be performed fully remotely.

Requirements

At least 5 years of related foreclosure experience.
Broad knowledge of real estate default services.
Superior organizational, research, and writing skills.
Detail-oriented.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Able to manage a heavy workload.
Confident and comfortable on the phone.
Able to work well under pressure.

Nice To Haves

Experience with LPS, Caseaware, Tempo, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

Manage foreclosure matters from referral through conclusion.
Order title and obtain payoffs.
Prepare deeds, assignments, and letters.
Draft motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
E-file documents with various court systems.
Record documents.
Maintain client and case files.
Correspond with clients and provide updates and timely responses.
Maintain the filing and document system.
Organize and maintain the group's calendars and provide and adhere to legal deadlines.
Organize and archive documents related to completed and ongoing litigation.
Prepare reports for attorneys.
