About The Position

As the Region Forecasting and Readiness Leader, you will be responsible for implementing and driving strategic outage initiatives across North America. You will deliver customer value via outage planning and delivery excellence, while owning a segment of the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process for North America. Your role will involve optimizing the outage backlog and resources, leading portfolio/district outage-focused operating rhythms, and rallying stakeholders to implement changes across processes and systems, thereby improving the standard work for front-line teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in power generation industry OR associate’s degree with 2 years of experience in the power generation industry)
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of knowledge and experience within the power plant field services or contract management
  • Willingness and ability to travel 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Operational Reviews (with the ITR Leaders) of Outage Readiness across SQDC to ensure the best outcomes for our customers, our team, and the region for all outages within the planning window.
  • Own and actively manage multiple NAM Level KPIs while serving as SME for NAM on ITR processes that directly impact the KPI.
  • Use LEAN principles and Problem-Solving tools to provide recommendations to address underperformance or improve existing performance on the KPI.
  • Lead the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) forecasting process for one of the key functions (Parts, Repairs, Services, Productivity) for NAM. This includes providing the functions an accurate 3-5 yr. demand forecast, aligning demand and supply, understanding capacity constraints that may exist, and coordinating with the NAM ITR regions on mitigation/correction plans.
  • Work with Global Continuous Improvement team as needed to determine if a Global Solution is required.
  • Build and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Industrialize process changes and influence cultural change to develop constituency support.
  • Establish a sustainable operational rhythm with all key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely cooperation between the teams on analysis required and actions needed.
  • Lead strong integration with all functional teams and drive a disciplined operating process.
  • Monitor and measure productivity penetration in outage planning and execution in the portfolio/district.
  • Support successful closure of outage escalation issues for assigned region stakeholders via the Daily Management (War Room) process.
  • Assist portfolio/district stakeholders to ensure outage issues and risks are reviewed expeditiously to achieve customer impact.
  • Assist FieldCore to promulgate outage Best Practices & Lessons Learned
