About The Position

The Wonder Operations team is looking for an experienced Forecast Planner to own strategic and cross-functional initiatives that support the growth of our business. In this role you will use analytical, technical, program management, strategic and operations management skills to proactively identify risks to in-stock, waste, and event performance and rapidly coordinate corrective actions. This role will involve supporting continuous improvement within Supply Chain technology systems, mid/long-term strategic network design, and managing daily tactical operations of our network to drive a superior Customer Experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Demand Planning, and/or Vendor Management
  • 2+ years of working with and measuring forecast performance, preferably across multiple nodes of a supply chain
  • 2+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 2+ years of experience defining project requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Advanced SQL, Advanced Excel, and BI tool (preferably Looker) proficiency is required
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in a quantitatively rigorous course of study (not required though high mathematical aptitude is crucial to succeed in the interview process)

Responsibilities

  • Build visibility into and establish monitoring for the health and performance of Wonder’s end-to-end planning systems
  • Manage complex supply chain problems by partnering with cross-functional teams to identify simple, customer-centric solutions
  • Identify sources of exogenous demand and implement forecasting and planning adjustments to account for them
  • Understand constrained environments and proactively mitigate supply chain risks, escalating issues through proper channels
  • Run daily diagnostics on several forecasting performance metrics to identify breaches and implement corrective actions
  • Deliver industry leading results in four core areas: Service Levels, Instock, Waste, and Supplier Performance
  • Initiate new ideas, create metrics, problem solve using data, and implement strategic solutions with far-reaching influence
  • Support buying teams by providing stable long-term plans so we can better partner with vendors to ensure best-in-class customer experience
  • Provide input to Operations Product in the design and development of key Supply Chain systems and technology platforms
  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive standard work, alignment, and productivity optimization
