About The Position

Tom’s Truck Center is a busy commercial truck dealership serving fleet and retail customers throughout Southern California. We are seeking an experienced Ford Shop Foreman to lead our service department at our Santa Fe Springs location. This role is ideal for a highly skilled Ford technician who enjoys mentoring others, maintaining shop efficiency, and ensuring repairs meet Ford and dealership standards.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on Ford technician experience
Active FMC login required
Current Ford certifications required
Completion of Ford manufacturer training programs
Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical expertise

Nice To Haves

Previous leadership or lead technician experience preferred
Ability to lead by example and work collaboratively across departments

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and support Ford technicians to ensure high-quality repairs and productivity
Assist with complex diagnostics and advanced repairs on Ford commercial trucks
Ensure repairs are performed in compliance with Ford standards, warranty requirements, and safety guidelines
Utilize FMC systems and Ford diagnostic tools to support technicians and troubleshoot issues
Coordinate workflow and prioritize jobs to meet customer and fleet deadlines
Partner with service advisors and parts staff to ensure accurate repair plans and parts availability
Monitor repair quality, comebacks, and technician performance
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
