About The Position

Ford Racing chassis design and release engineer focused on electronically controlled, semi-active off-road shocks and other tunable components. This role involves designing and developing tunable chassis components including electronically controlled, semi-active off-road shocks, coil springs, and related hardware for future Ford Racing production and motorsport competition vehicles. The engineer will work directly with core underbody teams to ensure requirements and design rules are met, while pushing the boundaries of vehicle performance. Occasional travel may be required to support vehicle development and supplier reviews.

Requirements

  • Focus on electronically controlled, semi-active off-road shocks and other tunable components.
  • Experience with design and development of tunable chassis components including electronically controlled, semi-active off-road shocks, coil springs, and related hardware.
  • Ability to work directly with core underbody teams to ensure requirements and design rules are met.
  • Capability to push the boundaries of vehicle performance.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to support vehicle development and supplier reviews.
