About The Position
In this position you will be responsible for the design and release of multiple exterior products on the most exciting vehicles Ford Racing produces. You will manage multiple cross functional relationships both internally and externally to help ensure the successful launch of the next generation, segment defining products.
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering required
- 3-5+ Years of experience in Body Castings Design & Release
- Body structures or closures D&R experience may also be considered
- 2+ Year of experience using CAD or other visualization tools
- Understanding of program delivery processes / GPDS

- Masters of Science in Engineering required
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, release, and delivery of components and systems across multiple exterior commodities for Ford Racing on an upcoming new model program
- Manage Quality, Cost, Weight, Function and Timing (QCWFT) to support program & engineering GPDS milestones
- Lead FSS (Full Service Suppliers) and/or other internal/external resources to deliver subject program
- Manage design and color/material studio interfaces to deliver to customer expectations
- Assure conformance to the Ford Racing DNA and all applicable Ford & regulatory requirements
- Develop innovative solutions for high performance vehicles and our enthusiast customers
- Support issue resolution and design change management during the prototype build and launch builds
- Interface and maintain collaborative relationship with Core Body Engineering Organization
