About The Position
Hiller Ford is seeking a dependable, personable, and self-motivated Ford Mobile Service Technician to join their innovative Ford Mobile Service program. This role involves taking dealership-quality service directly to customers by performing routine maintenance, recall repairs, and vehicle inspections at their homes and businesses. Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- 2+ years of automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Dependable, organized, and trustworthy
- Basic automotive diagnostic and maintenance knowledge
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, and standing throughout the day
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer care
Nice To Haves
- Ford dealership or factory training experience
- Experience performing maintenance and recall repairs
- Customer service or hospitality experience
- Familiarity with digital repair documentation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Organize and prepare for the day's appointments
- Travel to customer locations using a company-provided Ford Mobile Service vehicle
- Perform light maintenance services, including oil changes and scheduled maintenance
- Complete Ford recall and warranty repairs
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections
- Consult with customers regarding recommended services and repairs
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Maintain accurate repair orders, inspections, and inventory records
- Keep the Ford Mobile Service vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience during every service visit
