About The Position

As an authorized Ford dealership, we take pride in delivering top-quality care for every Ford vehicle that comes through our doors. We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our growing service team. As a Diesel Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel vehicles from F150's to F750's and E series models. Here at Capital Ford of Columbus we see all makes and models and many unique heavy-duty trucks from motorhomes to service bodies.
Requirements
- Experience with Ford Power Stroke diesel engines
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Ford Diesel Certification (preferred) or ability to obtain
- ASE Certifications (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Responsibilities
- Perform diesel engine diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
- Inspect vehicle systems including suspensions, brakes, and electrical
- Accurately document work performed and parts used
- Follow manufacturer and dealership standards and procedures
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
