Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Ford vehicles, electrical systems, and diesel engine mechanisms.
  • Proficient in using maintenance tools, repair equipment, and diagnostic software specific to Ford vehicles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and relevant electronics.
  • Ford Certifications are required for this position.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with customers to understand their vehicle issues, ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive work plans based on thorough vehicle assessments and diagnostics.
  • Perform advanced diagnostic tests on Ford vehicles, interpreting results to identify and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct detailed inspections of vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts, to diagnose potential problems.
  • Execute repairs or replacements on critical vehicle components, including transmissions, brakes, engines, and more.
  • Respond to emergency situations and sudden breakdowns with field visits, providing immediate assistance to customers.
  • Test drive repaired vehicles to ensure issues are resolved and performance standards are met.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles, ensuring compliance with company standards.
